I installed Roxio Easy CD Creator 6 on my Windows XP. It gave me an error
message like shared files .dll. It asked me if I wanted to cancel, try
again or ignore. I chose ignore and it continued to install.
I don't know if this is a good thing or not. I have never installed
anything and gotten an error message. The CD is fine and worked great on
Windows 98. I didn't try it out, but clicked on a lot of their choices and
got to the point where it said burn a CD. I just didn't do that.
Is there any way to check into this and see if it is okay?
Thanks.

Not knowing the file makes it a bit difficult.

However, Windows XP does a great job protecting its core files, so chances
are you did not comprimise Windows. If anything, Roxio may not work - try
burning a CD and find out :)
Roxio Easy CD Creator 4.02+ is supported on Windows XP, so I am guessing you
are fine.

If really worried, uninstall and reinstall and take note of specific error.
