I'm using clear install of Win XP Pro SP2 with WMP 10.The problem is that for some time the play,Add
to playlist, and other commands about MP doesn't work.Is there any way to enable them again. All I've
done is reinstalling WMP10 again ut no solution..
Regards.

Hi Doc,

Click Start/Run and type this command:

regsvr32 wmpshell.dll

If that does not help, a 3rd party shell extension may be blocking the
function. In that case, investigate using ShellExView. Follow method 2 here:
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/slowrightclick.htm

BTW, does this happen with the "Play All" feature in Common Tasks pane as
well?

Hi Ramesh,
Thanks for your help.First thing that I'd done was to use the regsvr32 wmpshell.dll command.Nothing
has changed but some how I got an error message that I usully got since last week ID_media.apl
error. So I searched for this plug-in and found that it was connected with ACD mPower Tools and
ACDSee 7.0 softwares. After disableing this plugin in each oh the related softwares the problem
passed. There was mo need to check the http://windowsxp.mvps.org/slowrightclick.htm .Some sad news I
couldn't find any "Play All" feature in Common Tasks panel,so no comment about it..
Regards.

Glad you got this resolved. Looks like it was the ACD shell extension
causing the problem.
