Ti4600 Problem

Last week when I added a new hard drive to my rig, my Creative Ti4600 messed up somehow. When I try to boot the system it shows wild colours on the post screen (some letters are blue, red, yellow etc) then on the next few screens it shows weird characters instead of spaces and such. When it tries to load Windows, the monitor just clicks and shows nothing. It's like the card can't reach the resolution that Windows is running at (1024x768). I'm using a TNT2 right now with the same monitor, so that's not the problem. Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like your power supply might be inadaquate. Izit generic, or quality brand?

Unplug all secondary drives and try again, I had the same prob with a M8's rig a week ago with a new MoBo using an old PSU.

It worked fine for one rig, but not the newer one. And of course it was the last thing we looked at AFTER we had returned the MoBo to the store under warrenty and watched them make fools of us by doing a dry build and watching it run perfectly.
