Defender boots OK and cycles through book keeping but then instead of
going to start screen reverts back to start of book keeping.

Replaced 5101 and 4071 with no change.

Something in memory circuit causing the signal to run high stopping the
cmos being written to
traced problem back to 2H 7408 not inverting the signal.
Replaced 7408 and problem solved
