Archer made BW at one point, but I don't know if he ever released it. I'd
like to see any of those made as I have 2 cabs that could use new art (one
SD and one GR)

Steves right ! There is a 2 yr old pic showing a close up of the BW
colour comparison at :-

http://www.ionpool.net/arcade/archuk/Black_Widow_colour_comparison_7.jpg

and a totally extreme BW restoration thats been listed before at :-

http://www.ionpool.net/arcade/archuk/bw_restoration.html

I did these two yrs ago. BUT this was a very expensive high quality
effort done in a tiny batch in 2003. I could re-do them but would
need 5 or more pairs ordered to get the costs down. Even so, given the
large rise in the exchange rate(and I hate to sound defeatist) you're
looking at approx $380 including 4/5 day shipping. I could get this
cost down maybe to nearer $300/325 if I could do a run of 10 pairs and
so on, or doing 5 BW and 5 SDs.

I have also got gravitar, quantum and space duel in the archive, and
would need to revisit them - I backed off due to the vast amount of
time these high qulaity but low run projects take to do. These days I
only really do this if I need it, and some of the more serious
collector/restorers want it. Its always a zero gain situation and a
whole load of hassle trying to get funds in after I've laid out the
capital to get the project done, plus hundreds of emails.

I am sure Darrin would recognise this dilemma !

But, none the less I would encourage folks to chime on this, even
though I'm giving myself a rod for my own back ... and I have a bit of
a backlog of other things 3 or 4 people want but never enough to make
it feasible.

cheers
Archer
