Hi guys, my uncle has media center on a shuttle pc. I was trying to reformat his HD (he had the activation loop and he let it go all the way) but the media center cd refuses to get to the part where we can erase his partitions and reformat, the cd just goes straight into installation. Do you think it has to do with his not being able to activate the piece of crap? ANy ideas? BTW, he doesn't have a floppy, so what do you think is the best method to make a bootable CD that is able to erase/format the HD?

i think you can use nero to burn a bootable image to cd from one of the self extracting files on bootdisk.com

i would just use a basic boot disk. Like a Win98 one or something and then use nero to make a boot cd. ITs always worked for me.

Supporting AMD with your breakable stuff.
