I just bought the asus 9600xt graphics card and had the geforce 4 mx 440 in my system originally, anyhow i removed that card deleted the drivers and then used detonator rip to get rid of any drivers left behind. Well i put in the asus card and the instructions said a found new hardware window should appear it didn't, so i went ahead and tried to install the drivers the ones on the cd and ones I downloaded. Well it goes through all the steps and then says "Setup was unable to complete installation, Try to setup your display adapter with a standard vga driver first" well i read the read me on the detonator rip file it says to go to adapter under setings advanced and choose change, well mine doesn't have that button also where it says adapter info beside everything it has unavailable. Anyone have an ideas?

Need more info on system.

You probably need to download the MOBO chipset drivers.
