last weeks news.

and they werent excluded, there just werent any on it. it wasnt a
conscious act, just a stupid mistake.

It's the general view. The FA have balls'ed up again, players like
Barnes and Campbell and going to be chuffed to find out they are on
the list after hearing all this, aren't they!

I can't see it as a stupid mistake, Personally, the list of players were the
Best players ever to have played for England.

I don't give a f**k if they are all Black, Brown, Yellow or White.

The best players were picked by a prestigious panel of former players and to
put a few Token Black players in the list just to please some people is a
pretty poor state of affairs.

it should be the same in any sport, any job, or any situation in Life
If you are good enough to be on the list then it dos'nt matter what your
colour is.

Of the top of my head I can only think of one possible black player that
should have been included and thats John Barnes. Even he didnt exactly do
fantastic for England (great goal against Brazil though).

I've heard people mention the likes of Paul Ince, Ian Wright, Sol Campbell
and even Rio Ferdinand. I'm not racist but I personally dont think any of
those deserve to be on the list. What the hell has Rio Ferdinand done to get
on the list?

I was surprised when I saw Gerrard on the list, does seem to take many games
to become a 'legend' does it.

Considering the list to pick from I dont think theres anything wrong with no
black players being included. I've never rated John Barnes as that fantastic
for England and as for Sol campbell,Rio,Ashley Cole et all, what have they
ever really done so far ? Maybe in 10-15 years a DVD like this will be
littered with black players but at least they'll be there on merit unlike
anyone in the new DVD who's only there because of skin colour and not
talent.
