Now remeber the Flyby scores don't work with the Demo like they are supposed to with the Final game, and aren't supposed to be valid indicators in this case (they are supposed to stress the graphics card more in the future).

I think the large difference in our results has alot more to do with your AMD64 than the difference between our two graphics cards.

Also, I notice a certain Knob, errr.... nOOb was the first to reply to your thread, only this time he decided not to be a Wet-Wipe. Too bad he couldn't have forgone that last time too. That is all I will say about that, as I notice the original thread got locked, and so i would not wish to comment more here.

BTW, Splenda, Speed's Rig specs are in the clicky at the bottom of his post, and mine are easily found, but here's a quicky link of <A HREF="http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7613821" target="_new">last week's 3Dmk01 benchie</A> and a baseline <A HREF="http://service.futuremark.com/compare?pcm04=232029" target="_new">PCMArk</A> for reference.

Asked for the scores I gave him the scores, pretty simple concept me thinks. Just because I dont like what they have done with the game doesnt mean I woun't test it. But damn does that A64 own us.

Now there are some A64 scores worth posting.

Please tell me you were at 2300MHz for this run.

It definately is his cpu as I believe his R9700 Pro is OC'ed to R9800 Pro speeds. My non-overclocked P4 2.6C/R9800 Pro box doesn't come close to his scores.

As a comparison, some pretty significant drops in performance. But the biggest are in that ficticious area of the FLYBY, which isn't even accurate with the demo.

Played 3 extensive games after loading the Catalyst 4.3 drivers, and didn't notice it as being any more laggy, still nice, no anomalies. Interesting to see if ATI adresses those drops.

I bought UT2K4 the on Monday night, and I'll bench it later (probably Friday or Saturday, depending on free time) to compare the Flyby, since it's supposed to work with the full version, so I will compare Demo to full version.

Yup, still the demo. I was just curious to see how the sub $100 mobile chip stacked up to my P4 2.6 and the A64's out there. I doubt I'll buy the game as so many other coming out soon. I'm hoping to see how farcry does multiplayer. I think I'll get that one.
