Hi all,
I have a laptop that I would like to set up hotsync for my Treo 650
via Bluetooth. I already have it set up for ActiveSync for my iPAQ
Pocket PC which works great.
So far, I have been able to pair the Treo with the laptop, but
everytime that I try to hotsync, Microsoft ActiveSync attempts to
connect to the treo with no luck of course. I can't seem to get this
set up so that when I sync my Pocket PC, ActiveSync will engage as the
default and when syncing my Treo, HotSync will engage as the default.
Can anyone tell me where my problem lies and how to get both of these
devices to connect to my laptop. I only want to be able to connect one
at a time. I have not been attempting to connect both devices at the
same time.
Thanks in advance!!!
Regards,
Steve B.

Steve-
You might need to first disable "bluetooth" from the connections manager
in ActiveSync. this will prevent it from automatically scanning the PCs
bluetooth serial port. Also check out this document (PDF) and let me
know if it's helpful. I used this process to Network Share via Bluetooth
with my T3 - it should also work with the Treo650 since the BT stack
hasn't changed much. Here's the URL,
