Just curious.

We have ADSL line in our company - and I have been told that DOWNLOADING mp3 or movies etc. does not affect UPLOAD from us - so it does not affect our business so much.

Is this correct? Couse I notice that when people come to work - Internet and working over the Internet gets slow.

Thank U

Of course it affects upload. It's still network traffic going through one pipe, after all.

ADSL is broke normally into differnt channels 1 block for download 1 block for upload.(assuming cap encodeing) You can be downloading at your max assigned bandwidth and it should not effect your upload speed. Of course most internet traffic is down so if someone is leeching mp3's your gonna crawl unless your only uploading files.
