I have been trying to use a new MN 700 to connect my DEll Dimension 4550 to
my Dell Inspiron 6000. The 4550 has all the networking componants required
and an ethernet plug to use to connect to the Wireless-G Base Station and the
6000 has Wi-Fi capaicity fully installed.
My INternet connect is via a dial-up model that is also installed in the
4550. It doesn't matter really if I can access Internet from the 6000 or not.
I only want to be able to sit out in my hammock with the 6000 in my lap and
share files and printer with the 4550 on my desk inside. I can see the
hammock through my window from my desk so I believe the wireless
communication part is possible. I just can't figure out how to set the whole
mess up.

If you have another LAN card on 4550, use ICS on it to share dialup to its
spare LAN card, which would be connected to MN-700 (set as an access point or
bridge).
Before setting MN-700 as access point setup wireless security on it.
