OK, whats the deal here ? I'm running a kick arse system and I can't even play C & C generals zero hour without it chugging away as if I had a TNT 2 pluged into it. I'm using the latest cat 4.3 drivers and I have tried everything form them to the 3.9's with no success. Man I'm only trying to run it in like 1280 X 960 and it CHUGS ! like 5 to 6 FPS. All other games play well in 1600 X 1200, 3d mark 2001 SE is 15500 and aquamark 3 is 36000.

Any help would be appreciated, it's not my favorite game but my 8 year old loves it. ( I'm a hardcore FPS myself)

Did you check the game site out for patches?

Barton 2500+
Abit NF7-S v 2.0
Maxtor 60GB ATA 133 7200RPM
512MB Corsair Twinx 3200LL
9600 Pro
Enermax Noisetaker 420 watts
Win98SE

IS AA/AF turned up?

What about the features in the game's options? I don't play C&C, but there are alot of review with PCs similar to yours, they should give you an idea what to expect at 12x10 for 12x9 should be within reason.

Nope, everything to the left, latest bios and chipset drivers as well and with the 9800 pro, it should be kicking. Had a look at there forums over at ea games, and guess what, no customer support, no technical assistance and an FAQ that answers 5 questions are the main complaints.

Nobody seems to know whats going on over there.
