Hi,
Heres my setup:-
Xp2400 @ 2.1Ghz
Asus A7V8X-X (KT400)
256Mb Kingstone Hyper-X (333mhz)
Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb
400watt power
Call of Duty timedemo 1 = 87Fps with tweaked graphics for performance not quality.
Quake3 demo four 250Fps highly tweaked for performance.
I've tried the Catalyst 3.7's and 3.9's, at the minute I'm using 3.10's.
Please help!

I think you need more RAM, 256 meg is not enough for newer games or even for running winXP if thats you OS. try 512 as a min but for max performance a gig is the way to go.

Hi,
I've got a similar setup,
my performance in OpenGl is kinda low as well as in Dx8.1, which are more cpu-chipset-ram dependant. Anyway i'd too advise you to add some more RAM. Have you tied 3dMark2003 to see what scores you are getting? It's more dependant on your Graphics Card and it will give you an idea if it's the 9800 or sth in your system configuration.
Now, this is what i'm getting:
Quake 3 Arena (timedemo1)-->218fps
Jedi Knight II (Jedi Outcast)-->91fps (bespin_jk2ffa)
Unreal Tournament 2003---> 179flyby/59botmatch
AquaMark-->36117score and GFX score: 5328 CPU score: 5607
3D Mark2001-->13450 (build 220)
3D Mark 2003-->5400
I have tweaked for high quality and AA/Anisotropic/Vsync/Trueform-->Application preferance (both DirectX and OpenGl).

My system:
AMD AthlonXP 2400+ (15X133Mhz)
1X512MB Kingston RAM PC3200 (2x200Mhz)
Abit NF7-S rev2.0 (using the drivers from Abit's website "Global")
Club3D Ati Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB (cat3.9 drivers.AGP8X,fastwrites on)
SATA Seagate Baracuda IV ATA100 60GB 7200rpm 2MB Cache, Serillel Adapter Silicon3112A)
MITSUMI CD-RW (secondary master)/PIONEER DVD-ROM (secondary slave)
PSU:250W (system rock-stable)
WindowsXP Pro (without Service Pack 1)
System tempratures:25°C CPU tempratures:33.50°C -->idle
System temps:27.5°C CPU temps:39°C -->full load.

I've since flattened my hardrive and started again using the latest VIA 4in1's and still the 3.10 Cats. Performance has improved but its still no where near what its supposed to be. I'm not getting 270Fps in Quake3 and 98Fps in COD. I think I'm gunna try a bios flash and then maybe a ram and mobo upgrade.
Anyone else got any advice?
