Just remember to uninstall the Nvidia drivers thoroughly before installing the Radeon.

I've read alot about NF7 board's being troublesome, and also being great at the same time. Buy the 9600P, and if you have problem's, we'll help you through them.

Hi,

Too bad I can't find 9600 pro original. After looking for the card that within my budget, I am end up with three cards, namely:
1. MSI (Microstar) FX5700-VTD128 (GeForceFX 5700) 128MB DDR
2. SAPPHIRE Atlantis 9600 Pro (Radeon 9600 Pro) 128MB DDR
3. GIGABYTE GV-R96P128D (Radeon 9600 Pro/AGP8x/ DirectX 9.0) 128MB DDR.

Can any of you let me know your preference? FYI, I am not playing FPS games. And can someone give me a size comparison between the cards with normal geforce ti 4200? Cos actually, my casing is qiute cramp already.

Thanks a lot for your opinion,

Regards,

Shaphyre is the builder of Ati I think. Go for the 9600 Pro instead of the 5700 non-U. It will perform better. I think size is not a problem. Any atx case will handle any card.

P4-2800->FSB800, Asus P4P800, 512DDR-400, Radeon 9800 Pro - 128Mb

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply. My concern about the size is the cables (power cables and IDE cables). I am afraid if the card is too long, it will hit my HD or with the IDE port on the board. Anyway it is just my anxiety.

Oh yeah, another request. :p, can u put the card in order of ur preference? As for lik, I assume that first is the sapphire, then gigabyte, last is MSI.

Thank you,

Regards,
