Hello. I was hoping that the community could assist me in picking a laptop out of the chaotic mess that is the computer industry. I am going to be using it more school and some light rts gaming like Civilization and the Anno series. I am on a super budget so if gaming it out of the question then so be it. I am trying to get the most bang for my buck. I have done some research and there are three comparison links for you. Please note that the Bestbuy Asus X54c-BBK5 is being replaced by a similiar model; X54c-BBK19, which is completely the same besides $20 cheaper. Thank you.

Cost: $300-450
Brand: Asus, Acer, Lenovo
CPU: i3-i5... 2.2GHz+
Keyboard: I dont care
RAM: 4GB
Monitor: 720p?
Screen Size: 14-15.6"
Storage: 160-500GB
Graphics: Integrated ..... at this price point lol
WiFi: Yes
USB Ports: At least one.

I found this one on Newegg and I think it could be better than the Asus X54C-BBK19 model if not at least comparable.

Go for the ASUS. Great reliability and cheapest i3 on the market. Only 320 Gig HD, but should be adequate. Only 2 USB outlets (make sure you know which is which so you don't waste the 3.0 slot on a micro mouse). Another plus is a HDMI out, which seems to be a ASUS trademark. If you have any doubts about ASUS quality, check out who is making Google's Nexus 7.
