I disabled the AntiVirus doftware, but it still wont work.
I discovered that the images that wont display are actually gif files (Right
click on image, then click Properties). For some reason, my IE cannot
display gif files. WIth jpg images, it is OK. How to I "turn on" IE to
display gif images?
Thks

You probably have some kind of anti advertisement/popup software running.
E.g. I run Norton Firewall 2005 and it has a setting to block pop up ads,
PLUS advertisements in web pages. Ideally you'd want any setting like that
turned off.
