Hey, I was just wondering today if there is an actual theoretical bandwidth limit for the cable connecting the monitor from the graphics card. Is this something that might be a bottleneck one day and will have to change? Has it been changing and I just didn't know? Am I totally off track here? Please cure my curiousity. Thanks.

Yes there is:) But it has nothing to do with how pretty the picture looks, just the amount of color data, resolution, and frequency (refresh rate). 128bit fp still goes to 32bit to your monitor. So this is never going to be a problem, per-se, but of course we will move to new display technologies and higher resolutions (maybe... or have people decided they don't need/want more? I havn't...)

Me: are you saying I can't provide?
Me: cause I know I can provide.
Me: oh and I can provide money too;)
Rachel:): why do we need money when we can just stay in our room and have sex all day?
