::After I have installed the SP2 the IE6 started showing “The page
cannot be displayed” message. I un- installed and re- installed the IE6
– it did not help. I have renamed the iexplore.exe into iexplor1.exe
and it started to work but shows now its version as “Side-By-Side”.
The iexplore.exe unexpectedly came back from somewhere. Now when I
am trying to “open in a new window” the “bad version” is being invoked
and shows “The page cannot be displayed” message. If I copy and paste
the URL into a “Side-By-Side” version then it will display the page
just fine. I assume that it is some kind of security /connectivity
problem but I am not sure where to change and what. I also have
installed Firefox browser – it does not work either – just shows a
blank age. ::
