9700 Pro Boot Failure

Wonder if anyone can advise us on this problem. Ever since I got my 9700Pro once in a while the driver fails to initialise on bootup. Creating striped artifacts to appear on the scree. Normally If i reboot the system once or twice at the most the driver initialises and starts to work again.

I have reinstalled the standard drivers and omega drivers seperately and the problem seems to be consistent with either of these. Cheers in advance.

Sounds more like a fault with the card (possibly long-term heat damage) as I had a similar problem and got my card RMA'd.
