I have a Midway Games transformer with a tag on it saying 43309. Any
idea what game this is from?

I believe the part number is 10-12945-00.

I'm not transformer expert, but I bet that is a production run number
for whatever game it came out of.

It is actually the beginning part of the serial number tag.
Bally/Williams had a very similar numbering scheme for pinballs so I'm
thinking they probably did the same for their vids.
