Found this over at extremeoverclocking. Apparently the 6800Ultra is gonna be about 399US, and non-Ultra at 299US. For Canadians, that's about 599CAD for the Ultra, and 399CAD for the non-ultra.

A few images and the specs could be found <A HREF="http://www.darkcrow.co.kr/Home/home.asp?idx=#3018" target="_new">here</A>

Looks lik Nvidia's using dust-blower on their 6800Ultra again. And a massive CPU style heatpipe heatsink.

I highly doubt the 6800 utlra will be priced cheaper than current 5950 ultra and Xt's. $399 = £217. Thats a whole £70 cheaper than a 9800XT! NV will know that their top card will sell very well and will price it fairly high.

Also the expense of creating such a powerful card with big cooling solutions will mean the cost will be high until about 6 months after initial release.

If the 6800ultra is priced @ anything under $599 then I, and a lot of other people, will be shocked.

Yeah, I highly doubt that the prices will be $300/$400 for the 6800/ultra. My feeling is the $400/$500 at the minimum and $599 for the ultra could be possible even. The link shows the X800 pr at $399 and XT at $499, which is more what was expected at a minimum.

Closer to $530 CDN for the Ultra, expect something maybe like $549?

Nice prices though.

No not really, there was the Gigacube pics of the 'R423', but nothing of the supposedly (and not surprisingly) molex laden R420. Her'es the R423 pics;

Well these prices if real sure shock me. If so imagine the poor saps who have bought or are buying FX5950 and R9800XT today! LOL, ouch!

Ok, it's all speculation on performance and I fully agree we need time once they are released to really know the outright performance. But if these things at all can double the speed on an R9700pro or R9800 pro for $299 and $399. Oh MY Word!!!!

Ok, calming down to skeptical and eagerly waiting, which is a much safer state to be in.

Maybe the prices are lower because the performance is less than whats been hyped so far? Hope not, but Could be right? we know they aren't just happy making less money and all of a sudden really care about each of us more than profits. I hope this is all wrong and both NV40 and R420 rock!

Something else puzzles me though.

The X800SE is going to be priced at 299.
Geforce 6800 going to be priced at 299.

X800SE has 8 pipelines
Geforce 6800 has 16 pipelines

X800SE has 128bit memory bandwidth
Geforce 6800 has 256bit memory bandwidth

X800SE has DDR-1 memory @ 800mhz
Geforce 6800 has DDR-3 memory @ 1100mhz

X800SE has 128mb of memory
Geforce 6800 has 256mb of memory

X800SE doesn't support pixel/vertex shader 3.0
Geforce 6800 does

X800SE core clocked @ 450mhz
Geforce 6800 core @ 350-400?

who cares what the 6800 core's at, if it's at 350mhz with that 16 pipelines it's gonna rule X800SE. I know i shouldn't be making any judgements on the cards before they're released, but but the difference even on paper's too big. Don't see how they could be priced the same!
