I accidentally terminated a few processes today, svchost.exe and
explorer.exe. Bad move I think. After I deleted those, probably
because i deleted svchost, my computer bugged out, so i manually turned
it off. now I can't start up, it says "Windows couldn't startup
correctly" and asks if you want to start it in Safe Mode, the last
known configuration that worked, or normally. selecting none of these
works, for after the Windows logo, it goes back to this screen.
Someone please help, thanks in advance.

Boot to the XP setup CD, and press 'r' for recovery console, run the command : CHKDSK /R

or, if no help:

How to Perform a Windows XP Repair Install: http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

If you run an XP "Upgrade"setup, from the original, or "Gold" version of the setup CD, and you have SP2 installed, it might go into
a setup loop, and you could lose your install. Uninstall SP2, BEFORE you Upgrade setup from CD (that lacks sp2 on it.)
