If your running win 98se can you use a 9800pro?
I noticed that over at ATI's site they don't list win98se as a compatible OS
From their site:
Operating Systems Support
Windows® XP
Windows® 2000
Windows® Me
But I would've sworn I've seen peeps (in their sigs) listing a 9800pro and win 98. (I searched posts here and couldn't find anything)
No probs with my 9600pro, and ATI's site of course has the Cat 4.3's for 98se. But before I spend the $200+ I wanna make sure I'm not gonna be unpleasantly surprised. I've noticed the new cards coming don't list 98se as a compatible OS and figured this is my last upgrade b4 I'm forced to buy a new OS
Thanks
