DVI output

Anyone out there using a Radeon (or any other card) hooked up to a HDTV (assuming it can do 1080i) as the primary display with the DVI out. How is the quality of it, is there a difference between that and the component out (I have an AIW 9800 pro).

I need to free up some space in my room so im getting rid of my old tv and computer monitor and getting maybe a 36" tv. Anyone with any recommendations?
