Well the new cards are hitting retail channels early next month. Are you sure you can't wait a couple more weeks? Radeon 9800pro, you don't need 256mb, you only need 128mb, since it makes absolutely no difference, even at high res with aa/af.

Ah, I didnt think it was gonna be so soon, I guess Ill have to suffer threw the BFV chop if its only gonna be a month. The funny thing with the 9800 256 pro is it was actually cheaper on that site than the 128 pro, the 128 was 10 dollars more.

LOL, that's weird.

This may be possible for you to try, some of the local retailers near where i live, offers a 14 days return policy, they don't need any reason, so if you could find a retailer like that, buy a video card, and return it 2 weeks later:) by that time the new cards would probably be out.

Heh, if i wasnt lazy and didnt feel like repackaging stuff and making phone calls I probably would =D, I can wait a month though, It just sucks having a new system and having a card from 2 systems ago.... :\

Heh yeah I left it in for shock factor. I still have a long way to go though, the 6800 will be a step in the right direction.
