On Friday, they both closed at $27. To my knowledge, that's the first time AMD has ever matched stock prices with Intel. Man, that's gotta hurt Intel's pride.
I think a couple weeks ago AMD stock was actually higher than Intel. The guy over at http://www.amdzone.com keeps pretty good track of things like that.
But this doesn't really mean much to me because it is only the current numbers. It doesn't take into account starting prices or splits. If you bought one share of Intel 10 years ago for $5 you have made quite a bit more than just $22 (it is at $27 right now) because it has gone up and split many times since then.
