Hello, I have 9800 pro and an overclock 2500+ cpu(2800+). My question is everytime I played warcraft III. When I get to the fifth or sixth match. The screen will just freeze or the monitor will just power off. And I am forced to restart my computer. After I restart my computer, I got a message that says the computer was recover from the error that was produced by ATI 9800 pro display driver?

Any suggestion?

thx

Did you had a Nv card before? Get a driver cleaner and reinstall the drivers. It might work! Search for one in google!

Could be an insufficient power supply, too.

i forgot to mention that I have 400W power supply and the 9800 pro is connected with my hard driver. I played other game such as Lineage 2 and Diablo 2 okay but Warcraft III has been giving me a lot of vpu error lately.

thx

I kept getting it ... I traced it down to the power cable for the fan on my R9700pro had slipped loose & fan was no longer spinning, I fixed it & havent had a VPU recover situation since...

Trust me I know what I'm doing... ooops, grab the cat...
