Was just going around on newegg, and just happens to read the most retarded review on some guy written about the Leadtek Geforce FX5950U.
My brother bought this card and it came clocked at 300/975mhz.
We tried the WinFox 2 utility to clock it at 475/975mhz. and it did not work. The system is MSI Kt3v, pc3200,XP 2400.
Thinking about returning it.
A link to it is here third review from bottom. He's so confused about different frequency at 2d, 3d, not only that, i'm sure there are confused ppl out there, but all he's doing now is confusing more people. What pisses me off is that he sounds like he's one of those person who thinks they knows absolutely everything, but they're actually retarded.

The fact that he figured out how to tell the 2d frequency. I don't know the way he said it, made me think that way.

A good number of people posting newegg reviews are obviously clueless. SOme are quite humorous really. You have to use those reviews wisely, and weed out the idiots. But yes, it could be misleading to others. Also, many people post those reviews without even owning the product. They just have something to say whethere good or bad, yet who really cares. Still, in general those reviews sure can be helpful if you keep in mind user error accounts for many peoples woes. Hence newegg refurbs are often new cards that are perfectly fine.
