Well, I spent a good deal of time tearing apart my X-Men today (6 player)
and I knew the sound was out when I bought it. When I took the board out and
looked at it, the custom sound chip in the upper right area of the board was
clearly damaged. Anyone know if it's possible to swap them out? I know it'll
be a tricky soldering job if it can be done. I have a spare set that I'll
use for now, but if I can get this one going, that'd give me matching
serials with the cabinet and monitors (number 9 in fact). Since I have a
good board that I'm using, it's not a pressing issue, but I'd like to get
matching serials all around. Thanks for any advice.
