DEll Latitude E6500 now crackles

We have had Dell Latitude E6500 laptops in our ofiice for more than three years. When we powered them up on Monday, the sound now crackles - we use docking stations with external speakers. All of the laptops are doing this. What do we need to do now? ![:bounce:]( ":bounce:")
