I have a Dell 2400 with XP Home SP2. This model has 6 USB drives at the
2.0 speed. I also have two USB flash drives, which I use quite frequently.
Sometimes, but not very often, when I insert a USB flash drive into my
computer, a message pops up saying this device would work must faster if I
plugged it into a USB port running at the 2.0 speed. Of course, all the USB
ports on my machine are already 2.0 capable. Is this just a glitch?

I probably should mention that both these USB flash drives I own run at
the 2.0 speed.
