Bootmgr dissapearance?

My computer was working fine when I shut it off yesterday. Today I tried to turn it on and my computer made a slightly longer beep than normal and had no display. I restarted it and then it said that bootmgr was gone. my mobo is a nvidia 780i and I was trying to boot up on a 1 tb barracuda HD. I also do not have the recovery discs and I am out of cd's. If I really need to I can go get some more but preferably not.

Go to Microsoft for instructions and find the following header. "Use Startup Repair to fix Windows startup files"
