Greetings! I've apparently done something wrong; but I don't know what and
I didn't intend to!!! The problem: the clock doesn't show in the System
Tray as I'd like it to. When I go to the Properties dialogue so that I can
check the "Show the clock" item: it is grayed out. How can I fix this?
Thanks much!!

Right click on a bare spot on the task bar, click on properties, then click
on "Show Clock"

Thanks! Actually, though, as I said in my original post, the problem was
that the check box for "Show the clock" was greyed out and, therefore
unavailable. After much more searching, however, I discovered that a piece
of time synchronizing software was causing a conflict. I uninstalled the
culprit software and rebooted after which all was as it should be. Thanks
for your quick reply!
