TECH: Spy Hunter music

My Spy Hunter sitdown has no music. The Cheap Squeak Deluxe LED
flashes on
startup and reset, but there is no music when I press the red button.

Stuff I've tried:
Reseating all the Cheap Squeak and SSIO connectors, and moving them
around
while in test mode.
Resoldering all the solder joints on the entire board.
Running jumper wires to compensate for some cracked PCB traces I
discovered.
Running the SSIO through its test modes (it passes them all)
Replacing the 40 pin PIA socket.
Adjusting the music POT; the POT is fine.

Any other suggestions? The music worked intermittently when I got the
game, then
stopped entirely. I figured it was just a cold solder joint, but
evidently not.
