I've asked this question before and never got a response that answered my question. Hopefully I'll have dsl in about a week or so and I wanted to know how the "dirty lines" or old phone lines that cause poor connections with a dial up affect a dsl connection.

links would be nice also, thanks.

If it is a good company, like Ameritech, they should do some advanced tests on your line and if it is insufficent they will run a new line to the poll which will most likely resolve any problems.

Does anybody have any JuMpEr CaBleS?
