Hi,

My ti4200 died, and I'm lookin for a good gaming card. Any suggestions?

I heard good things for the Ice-Q...
Just wondering what was the "best" for that price range, or one of the best.

thanks

9800 PROS can be had for ~$210

$250 should net you a nifty 9800 PRO with a whooping 256 megs of RAM... probably not worth the premium you pay over the regular 9800 PRO, though.

The 9800 PRO Rulez! And in most cases the core overclocks to 9800XT speeds! Heck, I hear the new 9800 PROs from sapphire actually come with 9800XT chips in them...

When i go to newegg, there are like 30 different kinds of 9800 pro.
Could you possibly give me a link to one that you would recommend?

Thanks for the help

What's the point? He can get the Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro from Newegg for $210, avoiding at the same time from all the extra trouble!

Nazi?? Last we heard that word used as an attack, the person was banned. Maybe it's your turn, n00b (you should be banned, frankly).

Here is the best for under $250. Look at that fan & heatsink, you can almost hear them, "c'mon baby, I'm not like those other cards, you can overclock me anytime you want, I won't mess up or make you cry, I promise". Buy it... you know you want to.

Send you old TI4200 to ATI. They will give you $50 US for it on tradein on 9800Pro. Your cost on 9800Pro $199.
No they won't. They will charge you a $50 security deposit + the retail price of the 9800Pro card. Once they receive your Ti4200 they will REFUND the $50 they charged you previously. THIS IS NOT A DISCOUNT!

Also, you will pay ATI a minimum of $15 shipping charge and you have to pay for shipping your Ti-4200 to ATI.

Finally, by participating in this mockery of a trade-in program you will lose your chance to get $20-30 for your Ti-4200 on eBay or a friend you could sell your card to!

Additionally, as of this morning, the only 9800Pro available in the ATI trade-up program was the $349.00 ALL-IN-WONDER 9800 PRO 128MB AGP
