Ok, long story short. I bought a new system.
p4 3.2 ghz
1 GB Corsair XMS Memory
Sapphire ATi 9800 Pro 128 mb
ASUS P4c-800E Deluxe MB
DX 9.0b
Catalyst 4.4 AND 4.5 Drivers for the benchmark

When I run Aquamark 3 at the default settings, I score an 18,645. WTF?

My 3DMark benchmarks suck as well.

All the other benchmarks I see fom TOM's show the card getting around 45k.

Why the low performance?
Why would my card be performing like this?

No old drivers. Just to be sure I used Driver Cleaner AND wiped the hard drive.

As for chipset drivers, the computer is brand new, so I assume it has them. Where do I check the current version?

Your P4C800-E Dlx has a CD, and it has the I875P drivers on it, did you install that? Because if you didn't, then you don't have AGP Drivers...

I guess you didn't install the chipset driver for the MOBO, go check the CD that came with the MOBO it should be there.

Ok, I stuck the CD in and the only driver related items available for install were the "Intel Chipset Inf Update Program" and the "Intel Application Accelerator Driver".

I installed them both but no change.
Neither of them appear to be executable applications.

Is there a specific file I should be looking for? Theres nothing else on the disk except the prebundled crap like DX9 and free apps.
