Latitude D600 - BEEP

Hello,

I got a newly DELL Latitude D600. Everything works fine except one
terrible thing. When the system got an error there is this loud beep,
like the BIOS beep. I cannot turn it off. It is really horrible. When
I logon offline and not in my network, I get 10 errors (this is,
because I am offline and okay so) and so I get also ten of this beeps.

How can I turn it off? I already tried to switch off the speakers
(that of course did not work) and tried to swich it off via the
registry. Maybe there I do not have the right key.

Can anybody help. This is really annoying.
