This is probably a stupid question, I've got two video cards
a
Radeon 9200 128M,TV-Out,DVI,128Bit Gigabyte
and a
Hercules Prophet II GTS 64

Im fairly certain the 9200 is faster, correct?

Thanks

Hell, yes.

The GTS is a Geforce2... the Radeon 9200 (128-bit) is Geforce3-class, at least, maybe even a teensy bit better.

Plus, the GTS is a DirectX 7 part (no pixel or vertex shaders), while the 9200 is a DirectX 8 part (with pixel and vertex shaders).

If it was a 64-bit 9200SE, they'd probably be right on par, tho.

But if it's a full-fledged 128-bit Radeon 9200 like you say it is, it'll kick the GTS to death, making lewd remarks about it's mother all the while.

I am glad to hear you call it a Geforce3-class video card... I am trying to get my friend to take back the 128bit 9200 256MB card he bought and buy my XFX Ti4200 128MB card from me... I am telling him the Ti4200 will do the same to the 9200 as you are saying the 9200 will do to the GTS... although the 9200 and Ti4200 are more on par...

Tell your friend that any Geforce4 Ti will 0wn a 9200.

If he doesn't believe you, send him here and we will straighten him out.
