hi i was wondering if it s a good time to upgrade atm.. should i buy the 9800pro 128mb now, or will it soon be quite bad as regards new games (doom3, hl2, etc)? or should i wait 2-3 months and buy the new x800???

I dont want to buy the 9800pro and find out that i cant play games at a decent res in a year's time.. i d rather wait 3 months and pay a bit more for a card that will last me 2+ yrs for sure

Wait till the game comes out, and get the card at the same time.

Cards won't last 2 years anymore :/ unfotunatly. Unless ATI and Nvidia slow down thier battle.

What motherboard you got dood, should the upgrade include mobo and CPU. And whats you current graphics solution?
