This is for my 3rd computer... I have just traded some old parts and a PCI GF2 for a PCI 9200... not sure how many bit or what version... and I currently have an AGP GF2 MX400 card in there... the CPU is a Palomino 1900+...

I am thinking the ATI 9200 all the way, even if it is a PCI card...

Use both! I used that have an onboard Rage Pro Turbo and a PCI Radeon 32SDR that I used so that I could have dual monitor support.

Oh wait, an ATi card and a NV card in the same system, that could be trouble!

If you can only use one, go with the 9200.

I think the 9200 has dual monitor capability...

I am not going to want dual monitors on my 3rd best gaming computer... I might have to reinstall windows just to get that ATI card to work...

no offense, I wouldn't really call that a "gaming machine" It'll get the job done for LAN parties as a third PC, but that's about it.

come on... I work real hard keeping a 3rd system up and running from old parts... :)

That is the only was my 3-year-old lets me play with a friend...

ya, that is all it is... it gets by for a 3rd player that does not have his own system or did not want to haul it over to my house... on lowest settings, it actually even gets by on FarCry...

Ya, I have one in the front room for my wife using a K6-2+ and two others in my office I never turn on anymore... but after the 3rd one with the Palomino 1900+ in it, they go downhill and get very outdated fast...
