I have a GefOrce 3 Ti 500 which I want to replace.

I originally thought of the FX5700 Ultra card ( is this a better/faster card than the Geforce 3?) but then I saw the FX 5900XT advertised at not much more than the FX5700 (about ten quid) would this be a better buy?

My budget is about £140.

Appreciate any advice on this.

The 5900XT is definitely a better bet than a 5700... Like, a gazillion times better.

That's probably your best bet, unless you can afford a 9800 PRO...
