NFL Blitz series - All medium Res monitors?

The Blitz series came dedicated with Medium Res monitors, but there is a
setting you can change to use either Standard or Medium Res monitors.

FYI, the blitz series does NOT need 49-ways to run... there's another dip
(don't remember, but I can look it up if needed) that allows you to run
8-ways in place of the 49-ways (which need a working I40 to make happen).
Strange thing though... apparently midway only uses 8 of the 49 directions!
Looking at the manual and the output of the I40, it only encodes 8 direction
values (the remainder are marked not-used).

No, it's actually pretty simple... I can get you the pinout for player 3-4
if you need it (I'll just have to look at mine, figuring out ground is the
most interesting part).

If you want to go the optical route you're going to need an I40 board to
encode everythign to send to the main board. They tend to be a little
flakey and somewhat hard (well... quite hard actaully) to find (I traded the
two I had about 2 months or so ago).

Honestly, I've played both (optical and switch), and aside from the optical
being a bit "smoother" I don't see any difference in play quality.
