Hello,

I have Ms. Pac-Man running on a PAC 1/2 variety bootleg board, and it
runs just fine, however every few seconds (not consistantly) all of the
characters will sort of pause very very briefly (seems like the sound
does too) then keep going as normal. This happens on the title screen
too when the ghosts move into position near the marquee. The problem
visually is similar to the title screen on all Ms. Pac-Man machines
where the ghosts "stick" briefly in the middle of the title screen, but
frequently. Any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks!

-Steve

Check the motion drive circuit. I had an earlier post about this, turned out
to be addressing or data bus into the motion drives section, I forget which.
See my repair log entries of late. Mine was a mindway pcb tho, but same
theory.
