Is your monitor not worth fixing? If the tube is in good shape and you
are a novice, just get a brand new chassis and have it installed. Or,
pull the whole monitor and find a TV repair man that will work on it
and it usually will be a lot cheaper than a new monitor.

I have two used 27" monitors. One was just recapped recently.

Call if interested, my old aol account was closed years ago.

Were are you located? Have you looked into having the tube Rejuvinated?
I do repair and rejuvination of tubes in the Chicago Area.
I have seen a lot of drak n thought to be dead tubes come back to life
with a decent picture.

Go directly to Wells Gardner at http://www.wells-gardner.com/ and look under
the medium resolution section. You'll find Med Res 27" new for $395 and
refurbs for $310 plus shipping. Keep in mind that poor picture quality can
also be cause by failing components on the PCB.
