Hey all,

I am currently looking for a laptop replacement and i am trying to stay within a 1,000 pound price range.

My current one seemed to have performed exceptionally well when i played MMOs; such as, Lord of the Rings Online, Everquest 2, World of Warcraft, Rift, Old Republic. I usually tweak settings to play in mid-range settings. It has a I5 CPU at 2.27 GHZ, 4gb ram, 500gb hard drive, and a GTS 360M video card (Asus G60). The screen size is 17", i believe. And i find the style of it fine, but there's only one fan on the left hand side and it seems a lot of laptops nowdays have another fan at the back.

I wouldn't say i am knowledgable when it comes to computer/laptop hardware, but from researching i think i know a decent amount. Saying that, the laptops i am looking at are;

The two MSI laptops seem similar; same cpu, similar graphic card(?), ram the same, and one with a little bit more hard drive space and screen size. I seem to prefer the style on the dearer one, and under further details this one actually says its built for gaming (Steel series).

On the other hand i found an Asus, which is the same brand i am currently using. It has a better cpu but a knock back graphic card. Ram and harddrive on level as the MSIs, though this one has a blu-ray disk drive, which i like but is it worth it?

Can anyone help me out?

I have recently found the Xplorer X6-9550 which seems is far better and more up to scratch with the new generation of MSIs.
