Issue: Windows XP home w/ ASUS A7V8X-MX & ASUS R9600 SE.

Video drivers Ati do not find chipset system w/ VGASAFE driver loaded. Attempted to disable VGASAFE to reinstall video- now no video on startup of OS.

How to fix?
Troubleshooting steps?

any help at all would be great.
