is it just me or does it look like there's no way those could be 22"X
24" as the description says? Maybe 12 X 24...And 22 pounds for a 2
foot piece of glass????

That solid oak around it looks pretty heavy.
Stain glass is usually pretty heavy, you have to add in all that steal
border in between the glass also.
either way looks like a nice piece.

Yup, But I don't think it comes with the oak border ( I'm assuming it's
part of the "Ligt Box" but I could be wrong)
Of course the weight of the glass and related packing materials could
bring the weight up. I'm just wondering about the alleged dimensions.
Something doesn't seem right with that. Looks to me to be closer to
22X48 (Which would be pretty sweet) or 11X24 (still cool I guess but
not as sweet) It looks at least twice as tall as wide.
I have to agree, it looks pretty cool, but it begs the question: Why?
(although I do like the theory of the Church of Atari!)
