You will be stuck with the quality of the webcam. Make sure you have the latest drivers from the Sony website. Other than that, only other thing to do is to buy your own webcam that clips to the laptop LCD monitor. They are generally cheap to some-what expensive (around $100). Those usually have pretty good quality for a webcam.
